had an interview at SMU today.. er. i thought it was a one to one interview. i was soooo wrong.
it's a group interview. by right, should be more relaxed and at ease ya? YOU WISH. they gave us some article on the US economy. how they are restricting foreign talent into coming in due to terrorist concerns and how that is stifling the economy. ppl outsource to other countries and stuff like that. AND, the 8 of us will be meeting with 2 professors to actually talk about it and answer questions.
why dun they ask us about our favourite colour? our fave brand of clothes or handphones or something? DAMN. or maybe the latest campus superstar? im sure i'll perform so well lar. and there was this girl from RJ. PRO. just kept talking and talking. let me tell you she has masses of knowledge in that brain of hers. i wish i could do some brain transplant or sth.. anyways, interview was alright. i did make some noise. "ah" "hmmm" "yea". so.. should i be worried? I THINK SO.
essay was on the country you love most. DUH! almost everyone i knew wrote about singapore. and i stupidly wrote out of point. forget it.
anyway, the whole issue here is, this girl from RJ, actually told me that i look very familiar. so i was thinking. Oooh, maybe a fren of a fren of a fren. or maybe she been to HC for some dunno what program and happened to see me or sth.
after the whole thing, she blurted. WE'RE PRI SCH FRENS! huh. i seriously DO NOT recall her in CHIJ OLGC. so she started telling me all about the sandwich competition that i participated with, wearing this silly apron.. oh, so it's the apron! haha. anyways, we were in different classes.. and we dun really mix inter class.. so, i really still have no idea.
then something hit me. ppl you never knew existed actually took note of you. be it a silly cartoon apron, or some childish sandwich competition.. it's a little crazy. but i was actually touched. haha. i have no idea why..
